BOOK RESCUE (2009)

Book Rescue was an art workshop where participants recycled old books and art supplies into sculptural objects. The books had all been discarded by a local library.
The project was an investigation of the authority of books and the impermanence of knowledge. It was also an attempt to recycle and reappropriate discarded materials.
